Jim’s Tortilla Soup

1 cup Chopped Onions
2 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
2 tbsp oil
1 (4 oz) can Green Chiles (diced or chopped)
1 (14 oz) can Tomatoes (diced)
2 cans Chicken Broth
1 can Beef Broth
Skinless Chicken Breast (2-4 pieces)
1/2 cup Tomato Juice
1 tbsp Cumin
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tbsp Worchester Sauce
Dash of Cayenne Pepper
1/2 cup (4 oz) Shredded Jack Cheese
Tortilla Chips
Avocado (ripe)
Sour Cream

In a large saucepan, saute onions and garlic in oil for about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except toppings. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Pour soup into bowls over broken tortilla chips. Add sliced avocado, cheese and sour cream to your liking.

Serves 4-6.
